Unicorn Song.

You know the strangest thing happened to me, I was eating this yummy pie I had found lying around when all of a sudden I sort of changed.

It's a little odd I must say.  So I've decided to sing about unicorns today.

Oh look at all you unicorns so happy and gay,
How many people are unicorns today?
Some of you are pink and some of you are black
And most of you wish that you could turn back

So shiny and sparkly and pretty and stuff
Except Jyabura who just looks real gruff
So here's to you unicorns and I hope you'll agree
That from now on we should not eat every pie that we see!

Yohohoho!!!

(You can't see the afro because it's on a black backround >_> )

Nonsense, nonsense, simply can't do with out it, the insense of nonsense let's sing us a song about it. Yohohoho!

Well no, I meant turning into a unicorn. I was already a skeleton so I suppose it's only natural that I'd be a skeletal unicorn.

You've turned into a unicorn before?

[identity profile] tapdancinskelly.livejournal.com 2009-07-06 02:44 pm (UTC)(link)
Well no... but when I wrote the song I had been turned into a unicorn. So because I was sort of in the same boat as all the other unicorns I could right a song about being a unicorn better, see?

[identity profile] chameleongun.livejournal.com 2009-07-06 02:45 pm (UTC)(link)
That would explain the obvious empathy with which you wrote the song.

[identity profile] tapdancinskelly.livejournal.com 2009-07-06 02:48 pm (UTC)(link)
Well with all my songs I try to empathize with whom I write it about because then the piece has much more life and vibrance to it. People would become bored of my songs rather rapidly without that. So in this case I felt it simply had to be done because it would be simply too easy not to! Yohohoho!

And challenges are necessary for growth, of course. Not many artists seem to realize this, but those who do are almost always the great ones.

[identity profile] tapdancinskelly.livejournal.com 2009-07-06 02:54 pm (UTC)(link)
Ah true, challenge is necessary for growth. But if you don't take the easy ones as well, you'd be depriving the world of yet another song. Why steal away a chance at a song to make people smile if you can simply grow as a mucial artist afterwords by taking on a project twice as hard?

[identity profile] chameleongun.livejournal.com 2009-07-06 02:56 pm (UTC)(link)
I wasn't really criticizing you. Inspiration strikes at various times, and I applaud you for making such good use of each opportunity you've been given.

[identity profile] tapdancinskelly.livejournal.com 2009-07-06 03:01 pm (UTC)(link)
Oh. Well thank you good sir, I'm sure that my next piece shall be even better than the present! ...If I can figure out what I intend to write...

[identity profile] tapdancinskelly.livejournal.com 2009-07-06 03:08 pm (UTC)(link)
So here's something that's been bothering me for a while. When did you turn into a child?

[identity profile] chameleongun.livejournal.com 2009-07-06 03:09 pm (UTC)(link)
A few weeks ago, actually.

[identity profile] tapdancinskelly.livejournal.com 2009-07-06 03:22 pm (UTC)(link)
Oh. ... I suppose that would mean that the consumption of alcohol is out of the question seing as how it can cause serious damage to a child.

[identity profile] chameleongun.livejournal.com 2009-07-06 03:23 pm (UTC)(link)
Actually I haven't curbed my drinking at all in all the years I've been in this child-form.

[identity profile] tapdancinskelly.livejournal.com 2009-07-06 03:26 pm (UTC)(link)
... but you said it was only a few weeks ago. Unless you are talking about when you were first a child, and in that case I must seriously wonder what kind of parenting you had. Allowing a child to drink alcohol, Tsk, tsk.

[identity profile] chameleongun.livejournal.com 2009-07-06 03:32 pm (UTC)(link)
I changed back a few weeks ago. I finally got back something I lost.

Most children in Italy grow up drinking at meals with their parents. It's more or less traditional.

[identity profile] tapdancinskelly.livejournal.com 2009-07-06 08:34 pm (UTC)(link)
Oh, so you are normally a child?

Well I suppose the tradition does go back to the fact that most water in the old days tasted terrible due to lack of filters. So tea and alcohol were one of the few beverages out there, and why not alcohol when there's more variety I guess?

[identity profile] chameleongun.livejournal.com 2009-07-06 08:38 pm (UTC)(link)
I normally look like a child.

Alcohol in those days was sometimes not all that far removed from vinegar, however.

[identity profile] tapdancinskelly.livejournal.com 2009-07-06 08:52 pm (UTC)(link)
You say look like one... so are you a child? I'm a tad lost on the subject.

[identity profile] chameleongun.livejournal.com 2009-07-06 08:53 pm (UTC)(link)
Mentally? No. Physically...I believe that's a yes.

[identity profile] tapdancinskelly.livejournal.com 2009-07-06 09:00 pm (UTC)(link)
You are one of the most interesting cases I've seen in some time. You almost have the exact oposite of myself. You are stuck in the body of yourself before adult hood, and I am stuck in the body of myself after adult hood. ...although right now I'm also a unicorn.

[identity profile] chameleongun.livejournal.com 2009-07-06 09:03 pm (UTC)(link)
What fun would it be if we were all the same?

[identity profile] tapdancinskelly.livejournal.com 2009-07-06 09:06 pm (UTC)(link)
Touché.

Would you perhaps like a song? It's not often I meet a rational human being, especially a child sized one. Yohohoho!

[identity profile] chameleongun.livejournal.com 2009-07-06 09:07 pm (UTC)(link)
Why Brooke, don't you think you should get to know me better first?

[identity profile] tapdancinskelly.livejournal.com 2009-07-06 09:15 pm (UTC)(link)
We've spoken on more occasions before than most people I have written songs for. And I'm an excellant judge of people who are song worthy. Besides my list for people I promised to make a song for has thinned recently so I'd like your permission to use you in one of my songs. Although it may take a while. Insperation can be a fickle mistress.
